Dear
members and friends,

May
is our annual business meeting where we elect a new slate of officers and
committee members for the coming year. The
nominating

committee
has proposed the following people for the Board and Committee positions and nominations
will be accepted from the floor.

If
you want to decline, you’d better call our current President and the nominating
committee:

As you all know, this weekend is the Redland International Orchid Festival held at the Fruit
& Spice Park. If you’re helping out, please remember to
wear your Pan Am nametag. The people at
the gates who collect the entry fees will need to check your name on a
list. If you are on the morning shift,
the gates to the parking lot will be open for volunteers and vendors until
about 8:30 am. You should try to be at the park before 9 am.
Thank you all for volunteering.
If you are attending, please stop in at the air conditioned auditorium
to hear one or more of the informative lectures. The schedule follows:
