Workshop offered by the Agroecology Program, Department of Earth and Environment at Florida International University and the Environmental Horticulture Department, TREC, University of Florida. The workshop is open to all students, and the community. Guest speakers with extensive experience in orchid biology and production will deliver lectures. This is a 3-days workshop with hands-on and laboratory activities, as well as field trips.
Topics covered include, among others:

• Orchid history
• Orchid production and propagation (tissue culture)
• Orchid flowers and pollination
