We could say that we love orchids because they are so beautiful and resilient. But regardless of what about orchids brings us together – their colors, shapes, scents, sizes – we are still learners. It is that thirst for knowledge and the love we share for these beauties that move PAOS forward.

Our meetings are open to the public and held the third Tuesday of each month at Pinecrest Gardens, in the Hibiscus Room*, 11000 Red Road, Pinecrest, Florida 33156 at 7:00pm. We meet in the Hibiscus Room, on the first floor on the left hand side before the Ticket booth. Guests are always welcome to attend!

The Pan American Orchid Society – PAOS was founded in 1954 by a small group of Pan American World Airways employees who desired to share their knowledge and love of orchids. The 60-year old society has grown to almost 100 active members and is active in the South Florida orchid scene earning awards in international shows for its orchid displays.
Besides our monthly meetings, PAOS members volunteer in orchid shows, organize trips (domestic and international), hold an annual auction and a Conservation Project in the community, participate in display contests, and we culminate all this with our annual holiday party.
